Our music library is quite impressive.  We possess thousands upon thousands of selections just right for any stage of your event, from social hour, to dinner and dancing.   From the Big Band sound of the 30's and 40's, to the Oldies of the 50's and 60's, 70's Disco to 80's Rock, 90's Dance to today's Top 40 and Hip Hop.  Our extensive music library covers every type and era of music!  Easy to talk over Jazz, Soft Instrumentals, New Age, Classical, etc. are available for background purposes.

A big key to our success is due largely to the creativity of our music selection.  Many DJs will play the same handful of songs gig after gig.  DJs By Request has a different approach.  We enjoy giving you a mix of music that is uniquely different than the last 2 or 3 functions you've attended.  We have no problem playing the "standards" if you or your guests request them, even better is keeping the party moving with tunes that you may not have heard in a while, but love to dance to.  We will work with you to build a music selection that pleases everyone in the room, always at the right volume to fit the mood you desire.   

MP3  is our format of choice.  Having all of our music on computer hard drive allows us to find any song that you or your guests request from the 15,000 or so in our library in just a few seconds...it's quite amazing!  Our source library is Compact Disc.  We've invested close to $20,000 into the CD format over the past decade or so.  This means that unlike some other DJs, especially those just starting out, who may download their music from the internet to save money, you can count on the tunes from our library to be crisp, clear, distortion and drop-out free.
